Guys, this is a pretty vulnerable post.
Right now, I’m struggling.
How?
Well, I’m struggling to grow my newsletter, my subscribers to my email list, and make money online.
I’m stuck at 16 subscribers.
16.
That’s the number.
We were at 18 a few days ago, but two people unsubscribed.
So, here I am.
Appearing in front of you, naked, lost, and quite frankly, quite gutted.
You see, I’ve worked all my life.
In fact, what I currently do for my day job is, work as a Basketball Skills Trainer and Health & Fitness Trainer as well as manage and lead my team of Sports Coaches – Bryan, Xavi and Remi.
And we are in mid-August so things are pretty slow and quiet right now in my training business as clients have gone away on vacation, coaches are on vacation and thus, my income has taken a drastic hit.
Net, net, I’m still doing ok with the clients that I, myself, am currently training.
However, as I’ve written in previous posts, I fully understand and am aware I MUST create additional profit centers where my income is divorced of my time.
My current passive income streams are:
- Through my Sports Coaches for my Local Sports Skills training business, Invincilete Sports Academy: $700
- Ad Revenue via Google Display Ads: $1.39
- Medium Partner program: $.75
Obviously, not nearly enough to live off of let alone support my wife and son.
So…
That is why I have to continue to work and generative active income.
But, my ultimate goal is to earn a fully passive, automated income, where I can make money in my sleep, on vacation, during leisure, or whenever or wherever I am.
In essence, financial freedom.
But, after 15 years in business, I’ve come to learn what I truly desire is: financial freedom, location freedom, and time freedom.
Currently, I have time freedom.
I am still in the jungle of life hunting for financial freedom and location freedom.
On my quest and hero’s journey I am constantly faced with this question:
Will you keep going, iterate, and be relentless on finding a solution in the pursuit of my ultimate goal?
The answer?…
A resounding, whole hearted, and fully energized, enthusiastic and emphatic:
YES!
Look, I have achieved so much in my life at 36.
From straight A’s, being the first to complete my High School, earn a College Degree, Professional Basketball Player, finding one of the most beautiful, smart and loving wives in the world, having a healthy, intelligent and loving son, successful business owner, impacted 1,000s of young girls’, boys’ lives through sports, impacted men and women with their health and fitness and much more.
Now, what is financial freedom and location freedom?
It’s just another goal waiting to be conquered by me as I have done time and time again in the narrative of my life story.
So, I write this to you guys with a heavy heart, full faith, and a promise to be relentless, resourceful, and resilient on my adventure into achieving complete financial freedom and location freedom, for my family and myself.
