Embrace Your Unique Gifts, Lock In & Flourish (Personal Experiences From My Trip To Solukhumbu)

Each and everyone of us have unique gifts.

For me, my gifts are:

  1. high energy
  2. creativity,
  3. positive minded person,
  4. athletic, fit, lean,
  5. Skilled at sports,
  6. Anything using the body
  7. writing,
  8. empathy, ability to express emotions,
  9. Connecting with humans on a deeper level
  10. hard worker,
  11. Executor. I get sh*t done.
  12. deep thinker, etc.

Now things that are out of my “core competencies” are:

  1. Timeliness.
  2. Organization.
  3. Dealing with people I don’t like
  4. Coding
  5. Drawing
  6. Video games
  7. Flying a plane

So, I try my best to stay within my gifts and core competencies.

I’ve learned through experience that if I stray too far from my gifts and into my weaknesses I become average or even less than average and I have to work 100 times harder to achieve a certain goal.

However, when I lean into my natural God given skills and abilities, I flourish almost effortlessly, add more value to society and attract more abundance into my life.

That said, I have also found when I try certain things outside of my strengths, I sometimes get lucky and succeed.

All I am saying is if you’d like to achieve things then it would be in your best interest to start with what you are best at and when you are feeling adventurous then experiment and try new things.

I like to win, so sticking with what I am best at has led me to many wins, yet doing things out of my core competencies have led to exciting yet challenging times.
