Who are you?
No really, who are you?
If you’re asking me, well, I am fundamentally a good, kind hearted, free spirited polymath who loves to try new things, embrace life’s experiences, travel, lover of all things to do with the body, lover of life, adventure seeker, athlete, extreme sports lover and contributor to humanity.
For me, I have always known, deep within my soul, to be who I truly am.
Life has taught time and time again the key to my happiness, self belief, self respect, confidence, success and fulfillment is in being who I truly am.
It is a powerful temptation to want to be like your heroes or someone you admire. But, to be like someone you would have to take on their negative aspects as well.
More importantly, it would be unfortunate and a huge disservice to yourself and society if you were to be someone other than who you are.
Why? Well, because the other person you are emulating is already in existence.
We don’t need that same person, we need you. You in all your glory – good, bad and ugly.
This true self of yours will add to the fabric, tapestry and collective consciousness of man.
You being you and me being me will allow us to contribute to our human data center.
It will allow others to learn from our mistakes and us from theirs.
It will us all to evolve to the highest versions of ourselves, push humanity forward and ultimately, allow us to transcend into higher beings.
Each one of us has gifts, strengths and magic within us.
It is our duty to unlock, develop and reveal our gifts to the world.
Always remember, however, when life throws arrows your way, I and many others will support you, believe in you and are eagerly awaiting for you to reveal your true self.
Live by your beliefs, values and ideas, not society’s. For that, you will have to take your time, spend time with yourself and ask the deep challenging questions to yourself of what it is YOU truly believe, value and think. Not what society tells you or expects of you, but what you truly see as your beliefs, values and ideas.
Realize, everything outside of nature, we humans discuss, argue about, believe, value or think, was man made. It’s time you and I lived by our own interpretations of life.
But, again that will take time to develop.
Until then, keep living, keep improving, and keep being YOU.
With love,
Sonam
